This unforgettable tour includes the best of what the Judean Hills and the ancient city of Jerusalem have to offer us.  The region is steeped in winemaking traditions and in history in general.  We leave the coast and the plains of the Samson region and begin our ascent to the Judean Hills through winding roads and birch forests.  The cool and crisp air of Ramat Raziel at 700m greets us as we arrive at Domaine du Castel, one of Israel's premiere wineries.  We taste some of Castel's famous wines such as their Grand Vin series and tour the lovely estate and vineyards just outside.

This special tour is the first in our series of 'wine theme tours' and includes what we consider to be Israel's most mesmerizing, yet under-explored region: the Negev desert.
